Why We Do It
We are good at Anxiety. Very good at it. All of us in this house.
​
The adults brought the Anxiety. We got better at it through what feels like hard work, dedication, and focus.
We created tiny humans and gave it to them. They have so many talents, but that darn Anxiety weaves its way through everything they do. They are both every bit as good at Anxiety as the adults are.
​
We got dogs. Two of them are also good at Anxiety, though one is good at feeling it, and one is good at healing it. Just to have some balance, they must always be together.
​
And though we all try to pretend we have it together, it has become increasingly obvious that we don't. We need tools. More tools. All the tools. Scattered everywhere so there is always something near.
They won't all work.
They won't work all the time.
We must find as many as we can.
​
And that's my why. If I can share a tool or resource with others, if my products give a little joy or a little comfort, if I can go to fairs and talk to people and we can share, if those of us who walk around with an inner child yelling "plot twist" can work together, maybe we can focus more on being very good at other things.
